For those you who have registered for CES 2019 and are waiting for the even to unfold, you now have a new floor partner in the event – The CES 2019 App.
The CES 2019 App has been designed to serve as a walkthrough for the entire event. The App acts as an ‘Information Hand Book’ for people attending the event as well as not.
The CES App includes Event Schedules, Maps, Exhibitor Details, Networking, Transportation Details, General 2019 Info, and CES Security Details.
The Schedule has the list of events planned for each day at CES 2019, starting from 6th January to 11th January. Once you open each date, you have the events listed in the Chronological order. Each event in the list also has its slot duration (listed in PST) and venue details
The CES Show Map in the CES App has the detailed route to reach the venue. Clicking on ‘Find Me’ will approximate your location and guide you towards the event. You also have the option to filter for each of the venue floors and have a look at each of the floor maps in detail.
Exhibitor List in the CES App is categorized based on the type of technologies. To cite a few, these include 3D Printing, Artifical Intelligence, Computer Hardware, Digital Health, Drone and many more. On clicking each of these Exhibitor Categories, you are taken to the list of Exhibitors for that particular category. The venue details for each are also displayed for your easy navigation.
Transportation section of the App helps you in organizing your travel. These include Complimentary Shuttle services from Jan 7th to Jan 11th. Users can use the Shuttle Tool to get more information on the schedules and boarding location. You might also want to download a copy of the ‘Full Shuttle Schedule and Map’ for offline reference.
Other transportation details include Ridesharing fleets, LVCC Transportation Options, and Taxis. Each of these has detailed information on schedules and boarding details.
Yet another highlight of the CES App is the CES Bot. The option to ‘Ask the CES Bot’ lets you do a live chat with the CES Bot. This helps in answering any of your customized queries that may or may not fall into any of the above-mentioned categories. In the below screenshot, you can find a sample query that we had put in on the Schedule Details. CES Bot returns back with a link to the Schedule.
CES 2019 Info again gives you an entire overview of the event. These include Exhibit Hours, Registration Locations, Speaker Directory, Transportation Details and other important links to guide you through the event process.
CES has also added a Security section to the App. This section allows you to make emergencies calls or messages to CES Security. Suspicious Packages, Security Threats, Violence and Assualt, Injuries and Lost property tips can also be found in the CES App.
With the CES 2019 App, CTA has pretty much touched upon everything that the attendees would require assistance on while attending the event. This is even more helpful for attendees who fly in from different places, to familiarize themselves with the event and venu. For those of you who are attending the event, it is the perfect companion to guide you through the entire event.
Android users can download the CES 2019 App from Playstore.
