Waymo CEO John Krafcik to Keynote at CES 2019

John Krafcik, CEO Waymo, has been invited to Keynote at the CES 2019 Leaders in Technology Dinner. It is an invitation-only event wherein only the top Technologists, Entrepreneurs, and Influencers are invited. Krafcik will also be seen joining Liz Claman (Fox Business Networks) on a fireside chat to discuss on the future of Autonomous Navigation. The event is scheduled to take place of 9th January 2019. CES is one of the world’s largest events that showcases Consumer Technologies.

For those of you who are not aware of Liz Claman, Liz anchors the talk show ‘Countdown to the Closing Bell with Liz Claman’ at Fox Business Network. She has interviewed a lot of prominent people including Warren Buffet, Jamie Dimon (CEO, JP Morgan), Howard Schultz (CEO, Starbucks), Bill Gates and many other prominent people.

Krafcik has had a lot of experience in the Automotive Industry. Starting off his career as a Quality Engineer in New United Motor Manufacturing Inc, he then moved on to other prominent players such as Ford Motor Company. He was also the President and CEO of Hyundai Motor America and later on moved to become the President of True Car Inc before being appointed as the CEO of Waymo. Companies under the leadership of John have recorded increased performance in terms of sales and market shares.

Waymo, the Self-Driving Car company has also achieved significant progress after John took over the big ship. Under Krafcik’s leadership, Waymo emerged out as an independent company for Self-Driving Technology under Alphabet Inc. Krafick was also able to make Waymo join hands with some of the most prominent players in the Auto Industry such as Jaguar Land Rover, Lyft and Fiat Chrysler. One of these partnerships resulted in the Chrysler Minivans which now form the major part of Waymo’s Self-Driving Car fleet.
